The DF30 features a 3-cylinder powerhead. You also get 36-plus cubic inch displacement, triple Mikuni carburetors with accelerator pumps, digital CDI ingnition and available power trim and tilt. A powerful integrated alternator delivers all the amps you need without a separate belt-driven unit. Try finding that on any other outboard in this class.

Low-end torque for high-demand jobs

We call it stump-pulling power. With an impressive displacement and a muscular gear ratio, the DF30 has ample low-end torque to handle just about any job you and your boat demand. From hopping out of the hole in a hurry to scooting across the lake, this workhorse has what it takes. These powerful four-cylinder 4-strokes have a chip on their shoulders. Actually it's more like a block — a big-block inline power head with a class leading 174.9 cu. in. of displacement. Suzuki's DF150 and DF175 may be compact and lightweight, but they pack a heavy punch. All these cubes, together with advanced features like dual overhead cams, enhanced air intake system with multi-stage induction, variable valve timing (DF175) and sequential multi-point electronic fuel injection ensure plenty of smooth power on tap. Superior torque and powerful gearing with a 2.5:1 final drive ratio help even heavy boats jump out of the hole and quickly accelerate to eye-watering top speeds.

THESE ARE SMOOTH OPERATORS too, thanks to Suzuki's specially designed counter balancer and a new thrust mount system that helps absorb vibrations and improves boat performance. In only a few years, this trio of powerful 3.6-liter V6 outboards has changed all the rules and made two strokes ancient history. Now Suzuki has added the NEW 2008 DF200TL, a 20-inch shaft 200-horsepower motor specially designed to put the "sport" in sport pontoon boats.

Suzuki's DF250, DF225 and DF200 outboards feature some of the most advanced engineering ever packed under a cowl-like digital sequential electronic fuel injection, dual overhead cams, a self-adjusting timing chain, variable valve timing (DF250), multi-stage induction for efficient airflow (DF250, DF225) and solid-state direct ignition.
