OURS

1. One of the very few manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest that can engineer blueprints, and lofts their boat designs into templates.

2. Product advantage is that the owner of the business is a hands-on part of the production training and quality control.

3. Independent bottom stringer hull construction, added benefits of this construction are:

* Less vibration through the floor structure.
* Better accessibility, easier for repair - if ever needed!
* The longer transition in our bow designs allows the boat to run with less wetted bottom surface, which benefits: top speed, fuel economy, turning and handling in choppy conditions.
* Engineered hull means consistency in construction - every boat will be the same.
* Boulton Powerboats' hull designs incorporate smooth flowing lines in the appearance of their boats. More characteristic of fiberglass boats.
* Hull durability! Independent runner construction has less connecting wields that can fatigue and crack.
* Extrusion alloys are harder, 6062 and 6063. For our bottom stiffeners, versus box frame construction, which must be formed from 5000 series alloys.
* Closer distance in-between bottom bow stiffeners to prevent fatigue in bottom plate. (Less chance of cracking!)

4. Our ability to customize and provide attention to detail. This is accomplished because of our 3 decades of experience and teamwork philosophy.

VERSUS THEIRS

Box Frame Construction:

A. Can only be formed with softer alloys i.e., 5086 not as strong as 6061-T6

B. Less room for injection foam - noisier hull.

C. More expensive to repair - accessibility.

D. Cannot be pre-formed with a rocker shape, so when wielded full length, distorts and causes a hook in bottom shape.

E. Used to save manufacturer time - not to give the customer a better boat!
